Why Chiropractic?

Life is an incredible journey and we want you to experience it at 100%.
Chiropractic is a natural approach to health that takes advantage of the body's innate ability to heal itself. This ability to heal is facilitated by the nervous system. The brain controls and communicates with every cell in the body via spinal nerves that leave the spinal cord by passing through the vertebra. These nerves serve as our mind body connection. As long as they can send signals from your brain to your body and vice versa, your body can heal itself. Unfortunately, these neural pathways can be blocked or inhibited when the body undergoes too much stress for it to handle, causing the vertebra of the spine to misalign.

These spinal misalignments result in a mind body disconnect known as a vertebral subluxation.

This is where chiropractic comes in! Chiropractors are the only doctors specifically trained to locate, analyze, and correct vertebral subluxations. Through a series of tests including muscle palpation, neurological assessments, and x-rays, chiropractors are able to locate subluxations and correct them by delivering a specific chiropractic adjustment. Once subluxations are removed and the mind body connection is restored, your body can start healing and functioning at its potential.

Torque Release Technique

How is your nervous system like a guitar? They both need tuning! Torque Release Technique (TRT) is the most up-to-date chiropractic technique available. Its analysis allows the practitioner to find the specific vertebra(e) in your spine that needs adjusting, the subluxation.

A subluxation will put stress on the nervous system by pulling on the spinal cord.

By adjusting the subluxations in your spine, a chiropractor can essentially "tune" your spine allowing your body to begin healing.

Using Torque Release Technique analysis, Dr. Miller is able to find the specific vertebra(e) that you need adjusted. Dr. Miller uses a combination of manual and low-force instrument adjusting techniques that are based on your needs and your preferences.
